Here in London we are using the Olympics as a reason to
massively get together and celebrate our city and the event. This
morning we started by participating in All The
Bells. Cow bells, jingle bells and door bells were ringing
along with Big Ben to mark a very noisy the start of all things
London 2012.

Let me take you on a tour of just a few other ways we have been
flying the Olympic flag (literally).

The outside of our Great Marlborough Street office has been
adorned with the flags of all 204 competing nations. Be sure to pay
us a visit and see if you can spot your country…

Stepping inside, we have our Olympic wall of fame featuring past
glorious sporting moments of a variety of people here. Who knew we
had so many county champs, marathon runners, diving stars… and a
synchronized swimmer?

Our official Olympic mascot is definitely Flame Assist Chris
Scott. His sporting 'moment in time' was winning his school 800m
race aged 12 in Jersey, 1992. This emotional victory eventually led
to him representing the Island in long distance running.

Not only that, he is also appearing in THE Olympic opening
ceremony! Chris will be on screen at 8.17pm as an olden day
cricketer as part of Oscar-winning director Danny Boyle's vision of
Britain. Here is a sneak peek of him preparing down on site
today…

Oh and talking of Flame Assists… a different type of flame
entirely passed our offices yesterday.

Let the games begin!
