The Mill Meets Bob Camp
Wednesday, September 05, 2012
We're excited to announce the launch of The Mill's monthly
lecture series this week! Each month artists, artisans, technicians
and all-around interesting people in the industry will come to our
office to discuss their work and inspire our New York team.
For the inaugural session, The Mill was thrilled to welcome the
venerable director, producer and illustrator, Bob
Camp, of Ren & Stimpy fame. Bob regaled our team with his
stories, industry insight and wit while presenting a slide show of
his incredible breadth of work. From his first gig as an
illustrator for Marvel Comics, to his storyboard years at Warner
Brothers, to his work at Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon, it was an
entertaining night for all.
Be sure to check out the Q&A session between Bob and his good
friend Ross Scroble, a talented animator with our team at The Mill,
Bob discusses how he got his start in the industry, how it's
evolved and why drawing is never going to go away. Teaser below and
full interview here. Definitely worth a watch!
