Summary

French Connection always manages to put their own unique spin on things, and this campaign from the creative team at Fallon, Toby Moore and Selena MacKenzie, is no exception.

Leila and Damien from OneSix7, cleverly embrace the flavour and naturalistic shooting style of the French New-Wave channelling Godard and Truffaut to great effect. They've created two sexy and photographic clips, showing the power in leaving things raw, grainy and just a touch voyeuristic! The voice-over adds to the mystique taking us back to an evocative and retro Paris of the Gitanes era.

In an age of super-sharp images and photo-real effects, it's wonderful to work on such a charming and emotive project harking back to one of the golden eras of European cinema.
