Summary
Spanning the far corners of the globe and reaching royal proportions, The Mill and ITV are proud to have collaborated on this promo for the 2012 series launch of Britain's Got Talent.
The spot, directed by Oscar Cariss, joins each of the four
judges going about their daily business - as only such a glamorous
panel that includes Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and newcomers David
Walliams and Alesha Dixon, can - when they receive their calls for
'judge-hood' from the Queen, and have to make their journey to
Buckingham Palace by any means necessary.
Seamus O'Kane graded the location-heavy scenes, creating some
great individual looks for our four judges.
VFX shots included various clean up on a number of shots and of
course, the Hollywood sign reveal, which was a clever mixture of CG
Matte painting and compositing work, creating an effective and
humorous take on Mr Cowell's office location.
The BGT fun and drama begins on ITV1 on Saturday 24th March.
