Summary
Nike and The Mill have teamed up to create beautiful crafted print images for Nike’s ‘Waste Nothing’ campaign.
In line with Nike's commitment to superior athletic performance
and lower environmental impact, the campaign highlights the fabric
of Nike's new shorts is made with 100 percent recycled polyester;
while the fabric of the shirts is made with at least 96% recycled
polyester. So the
2012 Nike Croatia away kit was made by using an average of 13
recycled plastic bottles!
The Mill has collaborated with Nike on 15 shirt designs to date
including Croatia, Brazil, France, Holland and USA with more to
follow.
The images mix the beautiful photographic elements with CG
bottle swirls and Photoshop retouching work, creating an elegant
transition from bottle to jersey.
Michael Spoljaric, Nike, Art Director: Global Brand Initiatives
