Case Study

Women’s Aid has released a campaign centred on a short film tells the story of young couple Liv and Jack on a campervan adventure, revealing how coercive behaviours escalate into abuse.

'Van Wife' is supported by LADbible, written and produced by Merman Branded Entertainment, and led by an all female crew, including director Rachel Stubbings. The film is designed to encourage people to recognise red flags in relationships and to question and challenge problematic behaviours.

The Mill is proud to have lended a hand with the post production and colour grade of this important piece.

LadBible also highlighted the partnership with Women’s Aid on its home page and has produced a range of supporting content, including a 17-minute video piece in which domestic abuse survivor Mia Boardman tells her own story.
