Title Sequence – Reel

The goal of a title sequence is to capture the essence of a film or show in a symbolically visual style. Title sequences serve as a really exciting transition to the viewer from the real world into the aesthetic setting of the film about to unfold, priming the audience for what they are about to see. The challenge is to not only introduce the name of the film and cast, but to also introduce viewers to key aspects such as narrative clues, characters, mood and tone. They are amazing projects as it allows the artists working on them the freedom to play with visual metaphors that describe the spirit of a sequence that will ultimately serve as a welcoming gateway into the film
