We were proud to have taken part in the launch of Huawei’s new flagship product, The Pura 70 smart phone. For the launch The Mill partnered with Ogilvy Beijing to craft a unique 20sec motion design animation showcasing the product’s unique camera structure.

All the shots within the film were designed highlight themes and functions of the product – from technology, and high class materials, to more abstract themes such as lifestyle and freedom of creativity. With this type of project there was a lot of exploration and concepting that dived into a variety of colors, textures and motion styles. Every shot was crafted to fit a certain tone and vibe of the product but also the key demographic.

In addition, we created a shorter 10sec accompanying design film that focused only on the PURA logo. We formed the logo in three different materials – paper, liquid and organic foliage. Each material carefully chosen to represent practicality, innovation, and the growth of creativity and ideas.

Our design team loves to get their hands on projects like these where the only limits are our own creativity.
