Case Study

Brief

To celebrate a century of its cult fragrance N°5, Chanel wanted to create an ephemeral collection of 17 limited edition items. In a film that was to accompany the launch of this collection, Chanel unveiled immersive pop-up stores dedicated to N°5 to highlight the brand’s manufacturing, audacity and savoir-faire.

Approach

Collaborating with Chanel, Woman Ray production and the Director Thomas Lagrange, our team created a universe in harmony with the brand’s vision. In a luxurious and industrial setting entirely created in our studios, the film follows the entire production line of the N°5 perfume. The white and black tones are punctuated with vibrant colours that recall the aesthetic of pop-up boutiques. A cross-disciplinary project that brings together three major capabilities of our Parisian studio: 3D, Motion and Flame.

Impact

The film has amplified pop-up stores in major cities across the globe from Paris, London, Hong Kong, Kyoto, Seoul, Chengdu and Monterrey.
